True Talent

There is a common misconception that when you reach adulthood everything would be much easier. Twenty-eight-year-old Richard Sloan knows that to not be true. In a society where your worth hinges on how Talented you are Sloan knows he is too old to proceed further than his C Ranking. While his A Ranking wife is slowly being recognized by those in power Sloan makes a wish to be the best in his Talent. When his wish is granted he realizes too late that the price for such power was the very person he wanted to better himself for. Sloan must now leave the only home he has ever known to try and fix his mistake. Between trying to fight an entity classified as myth, and the harsh realities outside his home he must square up against his worst enemy, himself.
